Scholarships for Black British students

As a global institution, Bayes Business School, London aims to foster greater racial diversity in business. It is offering up to ten scholarships each year for Black UK-domiciled undergraduate students from lower- income households. Each scholarship covers the full tuition fee (at home-fee level) and a £6,000 annual stipend for three years. Scholarship holders will also be offered mentoring and support.

Applications open on 1 October 2023 and will close on 17 March 2024 for the academic year 2024-2025.

Online information session

Join us on Tuesday 31 October, 16:00 – 17:00, to find out more about this scholarship for Black British students. This online event is a chance for prospective students, parents, teachers and advisers to learn about the scholarship, hear from current students about their experiences of studying at Bayes Business School and find out about the programmes we offer. There will also be a Q&A session at the end. Register here

With this programme, which will run over 10 years and costs approximately £5 million, Bayes Business School repurposes the gift received from the Portal Trust (formerly the Sir John Cass Foundation) in 2002. This initiative, which aligns with the reparation principle set out as one recommendation in City, University of London’s Review of Historic Funding, supports the School’s commitment to widen participation in higher education.
