Volunteers for Schools

Livery Schools Link’s mission is to help increase the life chances for all students from all backgrounds.  One way we do this is to support members of Livery Companies and Guilds to volunteer with schools and their students.

To achieve national coverage, we have partnered with two leading charities – Speakers for Schools and Inspiring the Future. Working together we can ensure all members will have opportunities to help schools and students no matter where they live or work.

Through this partnership, members of Livery Companies and Guilds can get involved in many ways, including:

  • In-school and virtual speaker opportunities to inspire and motivate students
  • Provide access to meaningful work experience
  • Take part in mock interviews and CV workshops

To access our volunteers, all schools need to do is ensure they are signed up with both Speakers for Schools and Inspiring the Future charities – benefiting from the wider volunteers they already have combined with members of Livery Companies and Guilds.

The services from both these charities are also free of charge to schools!

Find out more on the following websites, where you can also easily sign up with each charity:

Please email Livery Schools Link trustee David Barker if you have any questions.
